How to Play a Sound across Multiple Slides in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010

Adding music to a PowerPoint presentation will not only give your presentation more appeal but grab the attention of the audience as well.
If you are using Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2003, please click here to learn the corresponding tutorial.
For this tutorial, we will be using state-of-art Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, Windows Edition. If you do not have PowerPoint 2010, you can download the free 30-day trial here.
After you are all ready to go with PowerPoint, go ahead and launch it from the start menu or by double-clicking the PowerPoint icon on your desktop. If you are starting a new project, type a title in for your presentation. If you want to add music to an existing presentation, open it by clicking the File button then Open at the top left corner.
Next, you will need to make sure that you have an audio file ready to sync with your presentation.

Click the Insert tab located along the top PowerPoint toolbar. Then, locate the Audio icon, located on the far right of the lower toolbar, and click the arrow below it to bring down the sub menu.
From here, you will notice the options: Audio from File, Clip Art Audio, and Record Audio. You can choose whichever option you prefer. For this presentation, we will be using the Audio from File option. Therefore, we will need to navigate to our audio file and click the OK button.
Click the small speaker representing the audio file you have inserted, and the Audio Tools interface displays. Click the Playback icon.



Select the Play across slides option from the submenu of Start on the right side of Volume.

Select the Animation Pane option under the Animations tab. Right-click the audio file in the emerging Animation Pane window on the left, and select Effect Options from the drop-down list.
Then the Play Audio interface appears. In the Effect tab, make your choice at Stop Playing-After XXX slides.
After you have done testing your music, you can hit the esc key to exit the slide show.
That’s all there is to it. You should have now easily added sound to your PowerPoint presentation.

Slideshow of Sport in Spain

When the Spaniards across the country are crazily celebrating the victory of Spain national football team at FIFA World Cup 2010, it seems that Spain is enjoying something of a sporting “Golden Age”, which is similar to the Spanish domination in painting and literature in the 17th century.

Football

The new world champion Spanish national football team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup tournament twelve times since 1930, and has won the European Championship in 1964 and 2008. Cycling

The Vuelta a España (Spanish for "Tour of Spain") is one of the most important cycling events in the world, together with the Tour de France (French for "Tour of France") and Giro d'Italia (Italian for "Tour of Italy") racing tournaments.
Sastre became the seventh and third consecutive Spaniard to win the Tour de France in 2008, then followed by Contador winning his second tour in 2009's edition.

Spain wins World Cup

With the scoreless match approaching toward a penalty shootout, and the Netherlands down to 10 men for the Dutch defender John Heitinga was ejected when he got his second yellow card in extra time, Andres Iniesta collected a pass from his teammate Cesc Fabregas to fire home from close range and break Dutch hearts four minutes from the final whistle. The goal gave Spain its first FIFA World Cup, 1-0 over the Netherlands.

Therefore, Spain joined West Germany and France as the only nations that simultaneously hold the world and European titles. West Germany followed the European title with the 1974 World Cup and France won the 1998 World Cup before winning the Euros two years later.

Moreover, it was the first time the European champions had reached a World Cup final and a bitter disappointment for the Netherlands who finished runners-up for the third time after previously losing the 1974 and 1978 finals.

The eighth new FIFA World Cup champion is crowned on Sunday at Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg with the witness of millions of football/soccer fans around the world as well as Queen Sofia of Spain, world tennis star Rafael Nadal and NBA superstar Pau Gasol.

How to add your logo during the process of PowerPoint to DVD/Video conversion

Diego Armando Maradona, an Argentine former football player and the manager of the Argentine national team, is widely regarded as one of the best football players of all time, even though the Albiceleste suffered from devastating 4-0 loss against Germany in the World Cup quarterfinals several days ago.
I have made a PowerPoint presentation about Maradona, and plan to choose the Argentina national team logo as the logo to be added.
Here is the detailed tutorial and accompanying screenshot to help you be familiar with the aforementioned function.
Step 1 Click Logo to add logo and set video layout (it is on the promise that you have imported the PPT file and finished Options, Menu and Music settings in turn).

Step 2 Click Add to import your logo.


Step 3 Click-drag the center of the shape to change its position, and drag the bounding-box to resize it.
In addition, you can also adjust the Alpha value, Transparent Color and the Tolerance of the Transparent Color as needed. Click Default to restore the default original settings, and click Reset to move back to the previous setting step.
Step 4 Click Video Layout tab to adjust Margin Size, choose the Margin-Fill picture and set other options.


Step 5 Click Burn when all operations are completed.


Step 6 Play the burned DVD file, and you will find that the logo has been marked. (The watermark of Moyea Media is auto-added in trial version)

Just as every country has its own culture and custom, football tactics and style vary from one country to another.

• For example, Brazil is famous for its free-flowing, elegant style and often referred to as “samba soccer”. They tend to use a sweeper and a holding midfielder then everyone else attacks. They also try to go to the wings then move from there.


• Argentina on the other hand, also starts from the wings as well. However, they try to utilize two holding midfielders and the two center backs and thus, they are more defensive minded. They are definitely a bit more technical in their game in comparison to Brazil.


• The source of all of England’s attack is their midfield. Their wingbacks are solid but usually everything starts from their midfield. They also tend to score more on set pieces because of great aerial presence among their players especially those on defense.


• Italy much like Argentina is technical but has a more flowing and progressive team. They attack as one unit and they do not tend to counter attack unlike other teams. What they do is usually when someone from the midfield gets the ball, their center forward comes down and holds the ball then the midfield progresses forward.


• Spain is probably the most rounded among all of them though. They adapt very well to different situations and attack as one unit. However, they also are great on the counter attack because they have such quick players on the wings and up front. In addition, they are very well known for a hard defense to break down.


• Germany is known to have size to their advantage and thus aerial attack at most times. They tend to rely though on their wings more than anyone else does. They go to the wings and either cross it or pull it back to the middle. They also like switching from light to left especially up front.
