Slideshow of Sport in Spain

When the Spaniards across the country are crazily celebrating the victory of Spain national football team at FIFA World Cup 2010, it seems that Spain is enjoying something of a sporting “Golden Age”, which is similar to the Spanish domination in painting and literature in the 17th century.
In fact, in addition to soccer/football, there is a galaxy of talents in various sport activities else, such as Basketball, Tennis, Formula One, Cycling and etc.

Football

The new world champion Spanish national football team has qualified for the FIFA World Cup tournament twelve times since 1930, and has won the European Championship in 1964 and 2008. In addition, they have won a silver medal at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, and won a gold medal during the Barcelona 1992 Olympics.
La Liga (The Spanish League) is considered to be one of the world’s best competitions. Well-known and successful teams in recent Eurpoean competitions include FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Villarreal, Valencia and Atlético Madrid.

Basketball

Basketball is also a popular sport in Spain. The Spanish national basketball team has achieved a high ranked position in the international tournament by winning their first gold medal at the 2006 FIBA World Championship, and has won the gold medal at Eurobasket 2009.
Besides, a number of Spanish players such as Pau Gasol and his younger brother Marc Gasol, José Calderón, Rudy Fernández and Sergio Rodríguez are currently playing in the NBA.

Tennis

Rafael Nadal is considered the greatest Spanish tennis player of all time. He currently has eight grand slam titles to his name: five French Open titles, two Wimbledon titles and one Australia Open title. In 2009, he became the first player ever to simultaneously hold Grand Slam titles on clay, grass and hard-court. In addition, Nadal is the Gold Medalist at 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

Formula One

In Formula One, the two world championships of Fernando Alonso have made the sport popular in Spain, which is the only country to host two Grands Prix, the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona and the European Grand Prix on the Valencia Street Circuit.

Cycling

The Vuelta a España (Spanish for "Tour of Spain") is one of the most important cycling events in the world, together with the Tour de France (French for "Tour of France") and Giro d'Italia (Italian for "Tour of Italy") racing tournaments.
Sastre became the seventh and third consecutive Spaniard to win the Tour de France in 2008, then followed by Contador winning his second tour in 2009's edition.
What’s more, Spain has also hosted a number of international events such as the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and the 1982 FIFA World Cup.

How to add your logo during the process of PowerPoint to DVD/Video conversion

FIFA World Cup 2010 is near the end, but the pleasure it has brought to us is endless. Making the PowerPoint presentation for your favorite squad (or soccer/football star) is such a meaningful thing.
However, when you plan to share your pictures or videos with others on the Internet, you would like to add some marks or logos on them to aid and promote instant public recognition, or even to stake your claim.
Therefore, I will explain how to add your individual logo onto your creation when you use Moyea PPT to DVD Burner Pro. Let take the PowerPoint-to-DVD conversion as an example.
Diego Armando Maradona, an Argentine former football player and the manager of the Argentine national team, is widely regarded as one of the best football players of all time, even though the Albiceleste suffered from devastating 4-0 loss against Germany in the World Cup quarterfinals several days ago.
I have made a PowerPoint presentation about Maradona, and plan to choose the Argentina national team logo as the logo to be added.
Here is the detailed tutorial and accompanying screenshot to help you be familiar with the aforementioned function.
Step 1 Click Logo to add logo and set video layout (it is on the promise that you have imported the PPT file and finished Options, Menu and Music settings in turn).
0
Step 2 Click Add to import your logo.

1
Step 3 Click-drag the center of the shape to change its position, and drag the bounding-box to resize it.
In addition, you can also adjust the Alpha value, Transparent Color and the Tolerance of the Transparent Color as needed. Click Default to restore the default original settings, and click Reset to move back to the previous setting step.
Step 4 Click Video Layout tab to adjust Margin Size, choose the Margin-Fill picture and set other options.

2
Step 5 Click Burn when all operations are completed.

3
Step 6 Play the burned DVD file, and you will find that the logo has been marked. (The watermark of Moyea Media is auto-added in trial version)

4

Note:
1. To convert the presentation to video, change the output option as "Convert to Video".
2. Here is a picture containing all the team logos of participants in FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa that you can make selection.

Invisible Linking in PowerPoint

By tolhz

Invisible Linking is a technique which allows you to hyperlink your presentation automatically. The traditional way of hyperlinking to specific slide, custom show, or even url is to add the hyperlink onto a button. Thus, once you click on the button, you will be transferred to the location. But what if you want to have this done automatically? Here's how it can be achieved:

1. First of all, remove the button as we don't need to have it there.

2. Instead, add a rectangle that covers the entire slide.

3. Double click on the rectangle, set fill color to 99%. Line color to no line.

4. Click OK.

5. Right click on the invisible autoshape, select Action Settings.

6. Select Mouse Over tab, set it Hyperlink to the Slide/URL/Custom Show etc.

7. To make the mouse over work, Click Add Effect > Entrance > Appear.

8. Set the Start from "On Click" to "After Previous".

9. Double click on the added effect.

10. Select Timing tab, set delay to 0.1 seconds or a time of your preference.

11. Click OK.

12. The last step is to ensure that your mouse pointer is visible at the point of the invisble linking. Depending on how your presentation has been set up, this step is optional if your mouse pointer shows up at the point of invisible linking.

There are several ways to achieve this:

Have the slide show running in Kiosk mode (Slide Show > Set Up Show > Browsed at kiosk) or,

Have the mouse pointer visible during slide show view (Right click in slide show, click Pointer Options > Arrow Options > Visible).

There are many other ways that you can make use of the invisble linking. For instance, this technique allows you to hyperlinking automatically from Presentation A to Presentation B's Custom Show either by a single click/ or not at all. Or perhpas, forcing an end show automatically (rather than looping the presentation) when running in kiosk mode.

Watermark Your Presentation for Protection

When mentioned watermark, it always comes to us the idea of a stamp, a note, or examination papers where the subtle mark is frequently used. Wikipedia defines watermark as a recognizable image or pattern in paper that appears as various shades of lightness/darkness when viewed by transmitted light. Simply, it is a common way to brand the paper and was originally designed to stop counterfeiting.

Watermark is also widely used in today's digital world. You can find them in photos, films and audio files as a form of copyright protection. But that is not all. Watermark can be as well used as a faded background photo, or a visible logo in a PowerPoint presentation. As a distinctive add-in, it makes the slideshow more attractive and authentic without taking any of the main focus. In addition, putting an overlay watermark on presentations that you want to deliver on line will identify them as your work and discourage others from unauthorized copying.

Then, how to add a watermark into PowerPoint presentation? Watermarks can be put into a presentation in various ways. But one of the best should probably be Moyea PPT to DVD Burner if you plan to publish the PowerPoint presentation on Web or TV.

Moyea PPT to DVD Burner, a powerful conversion program, is designed with the function of watermarking that allows adding a logo for the output video/DVD presentation. You can easily input a logo image for a PowerPoint file to convert when using the Logo feature in Moyea PPT to DVD Burner. Just make it under the "Logo" section of the main interface:

The options available in this section include logo adding/removing, alpha (also called "transparency") value, transparent color and relevant tolerance. You can add one or more logo files for the output DVD/video. Note that the Alpha and Enable Transparent Color options will appear gray unless you have selected the logo.

Drag the logo to place it elsewhere or its border to enlarge or diminish the size. You can also control the color and transparency of the logo with respective sliders on the right.

Once the PowerPoint presentation is burnt, the logo that applied to each slide automatically will be displayed as watermark on your output video/DVD.

OK. It's safer to post your unique video presentation onto a Web site, and easier to brand yourself or your company with a watermarked DVD slideshow.

12 Tips for Delivering a Knockout Business Presentation

By Wendy Russell

The first step is completed. Your wonderful presentation is created and ready for prime time. Now is your chance to shine when you deliver it to an audience. Here are tips to make this presentation a successful venture.

1. Know your material:
Knowing your material thoroughly, will help you decide what information is essential to your presentation and what can be left out. It will help your presentation to flow naturally, allowing you to adjust to unexpected questions or events, and it will help you feel more comfortable when speaking in front of an audience.

2. Don’t Memorize:
This is, after all, a presentation, not a recital. Every presentation needs two major components -- life and energy. Recite from memory and your presentation will be sadly lacking both of these factors. Not only will you lose your audience, but you will be hard pressed to adapt to unexpected events that may throw you off your mental script.

3. Rehearse Your Presentation:
Rehearse your presentation out loud, accompanied by the slide show. If possible, get someone to listen while you rehearse. Have the person sit at the back of the room so you can practice speaking loudly and clearly. Ask your listener for honest feedback about your presentation skills. Make changes where necessary and run through the whole show again. Keep repeating until you feel comfortable with the process.

4. Pace Yourself:
As part of your practice, learn to pace your presentation. Generally, you should spend about one minute per slide. If there are time constraints, make sure that the presentation will finish on time. During your delivery, be ready to adjust your pace in case you need to clarify information for your audience or answer questions.

5. Know the Room:
Be familiar with the place in which you will speak. Arrive ahead of time, walk around the speaking area, and sit in the seats. Seeing the setup from your audience’s perspective will help you decide where to stand, what direction to face, and how loudly you will need to speak.

6. Know the Equipment:
If you are using a microphone, make sure it works. The same goes for the projector. If it’s your projector, carry a spare bulb. Also, check to see if the projector is bright enough to overpower the room’s lighting. If not, find out how to dim the lights.

7. Copy Your Presentation to the Computer’s Hard Drive:
Whenever possible, run your presentation from the hard disk rather than a CD. Running the show from a CD may slow your presentation.

8. Use a Remote Control:
Don’t hide at the back of the room with the projector. Get up front where your audience can see and hear you. Also, just because you have a remote, don’t wander around the room -- it will only distract your audience. Remember you are the focal point of the presentation.

9. Avoid Using a Laser Pointer:
Often the projected light dot on a laser pointer is too small to be seen effectively. If you are at all nervous, the dot may be hard to hold still in your shaking hands. Besides, a slide should hold only key phrases. You are there to fill in the details for your audience. If there is vital information in the form of a chart or graph that you feel your audience must have, put it in a handout and refer to it rather than having to point out specific details of a slide to your audience.

10. Do Not Speak to Your Slides:
Many presenters watch their presentation rather than their audience. You made the slides, so you already know what is on them. Turn to your audience and make eye contact with them. It will make it easier for them to hear what you are saying, and they will find your presentation much more interesting.

11. Learn To Navigate Your Presentation:
Audiences often ask to see the previous screen again. Practice moving forward and backward through your slides. With PowerPoint you can also move through your presentation non-sequentially. Learn how to jump ahead or back to a certain slide, without having to go through the entire presentation.

12. Have a Backup Plan:
What if your projector dies? Or the computer crashes? Or the CD drive doesn’t work? Or your CD gets stepped on? For all these problems, carry a backup of your presentation on a DVD disc or email yourself a video copy. Get your presentation converted in a second, just with Moyea PPT to DVD Burner!

PowerPoint Slides to Press-off TV Show

A troubled time comes. Economic crisis, together with the fear, anxiety, stress of unemployment, is becoming one of the hottest among everyday topics currently. Then, how can we ward off the ugly feelings to rebuild our missing confidence? The ways may vary, yet the essence keeps the same: Help and Share. Since all of us are closely connected, regardless of color and region, no one can stand alone in face of this great depression. Thus the first lesson we have to learn is to help each other and share more.

As a PowerPoint addict, I would take presentation as media of Help. My suggestion is that we make a presentation about love and care and share it on a home TV with family or friends. I believe that it can relieve the crisis sufferings to some extent. Here I will explain how it works.

Let’s begin with the amazing authoring tool PowerPoint. The charm of contents in form of PowerPoint is evident to almost every computer literate. To move your dear audience, an animated PowerPoint presentation with soft music and lovely pictures does work wonder. Generally, audiences are apt to such visual display rather than a plain text of a course, a promotion, or even a photo album. A presentation of joy integrated with a live video, a nice photo and a host of wipes is a cute cure of fear and stress that can utterly mirror how close you are to your family and friends.

Note: It is recommended to make your presentation brief and illustrative. Never be too long, or it will spoil the viewing fun.

Once finished the presentation, you have to share it somewhere. As to the topic of emotion tie, a home TV could be no more than the best choice. You can direct a TV-style slide show as if a real program maker, neither technical skills nor large expenses are required. All that you need are two simple devices: a PowerPoint-to-DVD burner and a DVD player, one for burning the PowerPoint presentation into TV compliant DVD, and the other for later watching on TV. The former serves as a bridge that turns your authoring presentation into sharing DVD. Related products like Moyea PPT to DVD Burner focus on such conversion and do a lot more than that.

When the presentation is converted to the ubiquitous DVD, connect it to your DVD player.

Turn on the home entertainment, every one sit back, unfetter fear or press, enjoy and escape to the exciting TV show of family love!
